A range of merchandise free to ticket holders of Keble’s Romanov Russia Ball 2014, including a fetching canvas bag, mints, mini post-its, a programme, and banner, all in conjunction with Neptune who used my existing designs and branding for the event to produce these extras. As well as this, I produced a projection image to be used on the Chapel, which sat in front of Liddon Quad which was decorated with over a thousand (hand-placed, oh the effort) tea lights, and a range of bar menus, two of which are shown here. It was really lovely to be involved in the planning of such a big event, which definitely made the 3am clean-up shift slightly more bearable!
The Oxford University Student Union Alternative Prospectus: I’ve been working on this since July 2013, and finished February 2014. It’s an entirely student written and produced publication aiming to offer an ‘alternative’ view of Oxford life, away from the gowns and the elitism. I worked on creating a magazine feel, giving each section a different layout and feel, and overall the entire project was something I really enjoyed. More than anything I was able to polish my InDesign skills, and learn a bit more about producing large scale publications.
Front and back of flyer for The History Boys by Alan Bennett, showing at the Oxford Playhouse, as well as cover photo for all Facebook related events. We wanted to move away from the stereotypical History Boys imagery whilst ensuring that the central themes to the play remained, and so I decided to move the classroom environment outside with a classic Oxford backdrop. February 2014.
